A Youth Worker perspective
My son was only 11 when he first asked me how someone knew when they were gay. I didn't know that children that young thought about things like this, what a lot I have learnt since then! I have been involved with Pride Youth, in its many forms, for ten years now, as a parent a volunteer, a management committee member and Youth Worker. The time has flown.
The young people change, but their issues are pretty much the
same. They are growing up in a changing world. Pride Youth offers them a safe
place to be themselves.
